Outstretched fingers grasp
at the edges of quite
and pulling it
closer draw a single
rasping breath. that draws the very
clouds from the sky
and in releasing them
they flow away hugging the ground
scurrying into the shadows
until unseen
there are no more clouds
and the fingers reach
draw and pull
grasp and struggle pulling
and pushing
to no avail
until
there is
no further distance to be reached.
The eyes close
the raspy breath is drawn again
but no clouds remain.

Do you ever wonder at the night sky with no clouds?
-
Yes

No

I often think about sitting on the terrace and looking into the sky.
I actually wrote this poem while traveling many years ago. On top of a hotel in Istanbul~
Wonderful picture … I like walking in the evening when I’m in the evening watching the starry sky
I love walking at night and gazing at the night sky!!!
It is especially nice in summer by the sea
I love the sounds of waves coming ashore! At night it is so peaceful and quiet!
Quiet, quiet and romantic
Yes I do and I wander so long sometimes until my mind takes me away to places beyond…
That is always the most magical wander. When you wander away to places beyond. Thanks, Carol!!!!!
