Random Facts True or False

Kind of out of the blue I have found a little fascination with random facts. It is something that I can learn in just a few minutes and try and keep my brain active. I am also excited to make a poll and see if you can identify random facts that are fake and ones that are true.

Here’s how it works. I will post a fact and you will give it a thumbs up if you believe it’s true (yes) and a thumbs down if you believe it to be untrue (no).

I will leave the poll up awhile and then there will be a way for you to confirm if you were right or wrong. People who are not signed up on virily can typically still take a poll. So this one is great to share on social media, to bring more people to the site.

  1. I promised you the answers,
Pro baseball did allow women players.

    Redheads are not going extinct.

One man has saved more than 200 people from suicide. He “worked” the San Fransico Bridge and all alone he prevented over 200 people from taking their life. His name Officer Kevin Briggs and he has written a book about it. He is an amazing man and I highly recommend the book.

“E” is the most common letter and appears in 15 percent of all English words. (No it’s 11%)

Showers really do ignite creativity. (It’s true, so grab a shower and write something!)

A pharaoh once lathered his slaves in honey to keep insects away from him. (It is true. Pharaohs are selfish and this proves it.)

The healthiest place in the world is in Canada. – No, it’s false. Does anyone want to know where the healthiest place in the world is?

  2. Question 8 is interesting. I would like to hope that the existence of the Samaritans organization has led to very many more than one person saving many more than 200 people apiece from committing suicide! However, it is often impossible to know how cause and effect work in such circumstances.
