There are trains that come close to my home. I snapped this photo with my iPhone from the car while out yesterday. I like the view of empty train tracks. It is like you can see forever. Nice blue skies as well.
Yesterday was a gorgeous day. Rain today. This is why I get out when the weather is nice.
Trains come through my area several times a day and at night. It is sort of a lonesome sound to hear the train at night. Kind of hard to explain.

I grew up with trains a block away from the house. I loved to hear it rattle through.
I like the sound in the distance, a lonely but realizing sound. Kind of weird to have those two emotions at one time.

Oh yeah. Lots of trains in my world. When I was newly married, we lived close to an airport and train tracks. The train tracks ran through our neighborhood. Eh! The rent was cheap! When we weren’t hearing the planes flying over our heads, we were listening to the sound of the choo-choo trains rolling on the tracks. It’s amazing what loud sounds you can get used to and learn how to sleep right through the noise. LOL.
Oh wow, not sure if I could handle that kind of noise. But I like the trains in the distance. Amazing what we can get used to.
