Some time ago I visited the medieval town of Radovljica, which grew up in the 14th century. The heart and soul of the city is Linhart Square, which is one of the most beautiful old town centers in Slovenia. Linhart Square is like an open-air museum. Houses from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries are preserved. The market is home to many museums and also a beautiful church, which is a prime example of a Gothic court church. It is adorned with artificially shaped vaults, an angelic star and a black marble altar. The simple outward appearance dates from the late 19th century when the church was changed for reasons of style.

Oh, so cozy & beautiful corner of the world, glad that you visited it!!! Adore such towns!!!
This is a really special place. I visited it for the first time and I will definitely repeat it again.
What a lovely and beautiful town!
You are right. I always enjoy walking through this city.
Visiting the old city and observing old architecture is part of my favorites too.
About the church, the impression of grandeur can be seen from that old building!
Looks like we’re pretty similar on this one. I first visit the church, then only look at the other sights.
I really like historical colossal films, and every time I see an old city or something like that, I kind of see in my mind what the situation around it was in its time.
Is there a St. Thomas church in Slovenia as well?
Yes, we also have a church of St. Thomas in Slovenia. I’ll see if I have any pictures.
Stunning photo. I love seeing these old churches and buildings.
Thank you. I look at the church first in every city.
I love this old church very much.

I agree. The church looks really very simple.
What a gorgeous whitewashed old church. I also love old towns like the old Quebec center with its original and restored cobblestones streets….
I totally agree with you. I always visit the old parts of the city first. I always see something interesting.
Whenever we have gone on conducted tours they always include age old sights.
I also go sightseeing, parks, etc. on every trip.
