R for roses – alibbs alphabet crazy challenge

No garden is complete if no roses are seen there.  But not all know the art of growing roses.

Roses are a fussy lot needing constant care be it manuring, pruning and watching out for pests.

I do have a few roses but what I feel sorry about is I lost those that I had grown from cuttings.  My friend had given me a bunch of roses from her garden. After a few days and after the roses had withered I planted those cuttings and every single cuttings came up and I had 7 roses with different colours.  But when I had an accident and was hospitalised those roses got neglected and now I have just one from that lot that has survived.

The collage that is uploaded here is of roses from my garden but  some of them have disappeared.

I have been writing for various sites some of which have disappeared.  I have several interests including writing, photography, gardening, reaching out, cooking.  I have a blog which needs a bit of revamping and when I get some time I will go there and do justice.

I love people and have been responsible for getting together several groups such as class mates, seniors, orphaned kids and family
