We bring our Ford Escape regularly to the dealer’s shop for the regular preventive maintenance. It is quite expensive to pay $200 every 3 months but when our car turned turned 6 years old last year, the maintenance period was pegged at every 6 months.
Some friends say that the preventive maintenance in the dealer’s shop is just an added expense for it is cheaper if we bring our car in other shops that has a good mechanic. That is good advice but come to think of it that the dealer’s shop is an official Ford shop that has complete equipment and tools with fully trained mechanics. Oh well, owning a car is really expensive and we have to live with it for the sake of comfort and convenience on the road.
