Petunias are whimsical annual flowers that come in a variety of colors and styles. They are great for hanging baskets, pots and borders and very easy to start from seed.There are also some interesting stories behind the petunia. One folklore says that the Maya and the Inca believed that petunias were able to ward off spirits and monsters from the underworld. Another belief is that petunias need positive energy to grow. So if your petunias aren’t flourishing you may have negative energy around your garden.

I do like purple flowers.
I don’t have petunias on the terrace, but I have lots of pictures with them. They are very delicate flowers.
They look delicate but I find that they are quite hardy and long lasting throughout the summer and into fall.
