The Philippines.
Yesterday, a 6.5 Magnitude earthquake hit North Cotabato again. Two died in this quake, raising the fatalities to 17. (Read: 17 killed as quakes rattle Mindanao ).
This is not the first earthquake that hit Mindanao this year. In fact, in the past 30 days alone(by the time of writing), Mindanao was hit by more than 15 earthquakes with a magnitude of 4.3 and up. (See: earthquaketrack.com). This does not include the number of aftershocks that were recorded after each event.
Lives were lost. A number of houses and buildings collapsed, more buildings and houses suffered more than just cracks, that the residents have to leave their homes.
What I fear is, this might not be the last quake that will hit the island.
In this light, I’d like to ask my Virilian friends, to offer a short prayer for the safety of the people living in Mindanao and the quakes will stop already.

I terrified when I see what tragedies are happening around the world. Otherwise I can’t help but send them good wishes and some prayer.
