Went out to eat the other day. For an appetizer I ordered potato soup. I love it when it has different cheeses added and sprinkled bacon on the top. This restaurant knew how to fix the soup. It was delicious.
They also served homemade bread with butter. So good dipped in this soup.
I am ready to go back. Maybe soon I can make another visit to enjoy a meal there again. Sharing this for Kim’s Color Crazy challenge.

It is one of my favorite soups. I have never made this at home. 🙂
when someone else is cooking something my mother always says to them “that is the best (whatever was cooked) I’ve ever had.”
My wife does the same thing. Although, she seldom cooks.
I understand. Going out to eat is always special and makes it taste better too, most of the time.
it really is, but a good home cooked meal with love is the best.

Sounds delicious never tried it but I believe I could make it myself.
It is great and when you make it homemade add what you want, of course!
Potatoes and bacon is new to me but seems a great combination.
The bacon is only sprinkled on top. The main ingredient in this one is cheese, several different types of cheese. I often sprinkle bacon on a baked potato, delicious.

This looks like a dish that I want to sample.
