Postal mails, written on paper

Today I found a bunch of advertisement booklets thrown in our office mailbox. I threw all those papers to the bin and made a tea to warm up myself. Pampering myself with a warm drink, I thought that such a common mailbox in the past now is used less and less. But sometimes you want the real thing – written on paper that still holds the heat of touch.

I still remember a time when I was getting paper postal mails. Now, in my home mailbox, I find only bills and promotions.

Who would I like to receive the mail from? From myself after twenty years. I’d like the mail to reassure me – don’t be afraid, everything ended well, and things that seem complicated today have been solved with only interesting stories left.

Also, today I could write such mail to myself and send it to the past when I was a student: Life was more interesting than I expected.
