It is important to note that many of us make money writing on Virily By default that makes us at the least, invested in their success. My favorite part of the Verily experience so far has been the wonderful people and magical conversations I’ve been able to have. There are some cool things happening on Virily. That sense of community is very important to be.
I have spent years in the IT space, and I can tell you the more information the admins have about the environment, what isn’t working and the impact of it not working the faster they can find a path forward. The links to the polls are above, add your voice. I shared the first one with the Virily team today and will share the second (and this poll) them in the next few days.
My grandfather always said, “if you row together, you will get there faster!”

I did contact the admin team, got a thank you. It helped me fix the issue for myself and two other people, however, as the admin team was very quick to respond!
Yes. I was worried about the Twitter login issue, the admin team was able to get me up and running very quickly (along with several other users!).
First off it could easily be your browser. Your browser caches passwords, if you’ve changed your password it could be an old password.
Also, as I have tried to point out many times, every single browser acts differently in relation to websites. What browser you are using impacts what happens.
The rule for troubleshooting issues is to remove local issues first. Then move to site issues.
Considering how many users we have, this is a pretty small sample. I haven’t experienced any problems so far this weekend.
I agree it is very anemic. It is a balancing act sometimes.
I thought many more folks would be using this site on mobile devices…
with content creators, it is harder on the mobile, but the number is lower than I expected as well.
Of course, we have no idea if your sample is representative or not. It could be the folks on phones aren’t taking your poll. It still provides a useful metric about users who are invested in the integrity of the site…
I would say my sample size compared to the user population of Virily precludes anything other than a random sample. My concern/fear is that the community that was Virily is slipping away.
I hope not, as I am just starting to get the hang of things
The pond, as we used to say in a previous life, is not clean. Let’s hope things stabilize!
I wonder how that would be accomplished
No, you do not! But there are so many posts now on the site that have images that are not freely available,
cleaning the bond would not be simple.
1. Remove the shortcuts for those who think it is ok to use shortcuts to archive ranking on the site.
2. Remove the copyrighted images. GDPR is going to make that extremely risky going forward.
3. Have interactive meetings with a group of writers on the site once a quarter.
Just a few to start…
I certainly don’t need to worry about the second strategy…
I have problems after I login. I do ok for a little while and then I am signed out and have to start all over again.
interesting, now that is the first time I’ve heard that problem (although I think you did mention once before).
Trying to login can be confusing, but lately it has been somewhat better. Sometime when I switch browsers it helps.
That has until yesterday solved all my problems. Yesterday I think i hit a new one! But they fixed it pretty fast!
Looks like I was the first here Doc. Hope this helps.
First is always important! You are a trend setter~!
