Hi, dears, I’m gonna tell you a small story and I’m interested in your opinion on it.

Once my friend invited me to the secret family party. In fact, my friend’s family has so many relatives that the sister of her mother having birthday decided not to include to the list all of them haha!!! They gathered at a medium-size restaurant hall for this undercover event. I repeat, my friend was not invited and I was not their relative! So my sneaky friend phoned the involved cousin and got the info about the place!

How would you feel coming to the place knowing all this? And I knew that one member of this family was a well-known actor, playing leading roles in films and sitcoms. But he was so busy that I hardly expected to see him there. Please let me not unveil his name.

And he was there! During greetings he kissed not only my friend as she was his beloved relative but he also kissed me on the cheek!!!!

You know, I was surprised but pretended that it was absolutely ordinary!

Later, sitting by the table quite near this actor I decided not to ask an autograph. I do not collect autographs. I would have been happy to start my collection but…. I persuaded myself that to see the famous person so close and hear him talk would be enough for me! Besides I felt twice ashamed – for my friend and for myself.

Finishing my story, I must say it was fun of course, I felt magic and charisma coming from this actor. It was a special day for me obviously!

    With all humility, myself with my profession and involvement in various organizations often meet celebrities (of course local celebrities of my country), it’s just that I am indeed a person who prefers to assume that everyone is a star. hehehe…

    • Yes, Chicago is a big and active city and you have a lot of opportunities here including meeting somebody well-known who inspires you too!!!
      I just remembered my first acquaintance with a famous person that was in my teenage years when a well-known children’s composer came to listen to how our choir sang his songs. The composer was rather old and is known only inside our country I think. He also wrote beautiful romantic songs about our motherland. The coincidence was that my granny knew him in 1964!!!!
