Planting a cashew seedling

It is said that the cashew tree takes 4 years from seedling to fruiting. But in this modern time I was surprised to see in the internet that it only takes 2 to 3 years for a cashew seedling to be fruiting. I wonder if that is true.

Anyway the fruiting season of cashew is April and May. Usually it bears many fruits depending on the kind of branches of the tree. But the downside is the fruiting season is just once a year so the harvest now should be a lot otherwise you will wait for a year for the next harvest.
