The Prescription Physical Activity Initiative has been launched in Sweden with the aim of bringing together various professionals to promote physical activity as a medicine. It is necessary to reduce the time spent in the chair. A World Health Organization study found that it takes 150 minutes of moderate physical activity per week to see the result of a workout. Physical activity is a great preventative.
