It’s Mid-Autumn Festival today. Mooncakes are the main traditional food to eat during the festival, and the kids usually play with these lanterns and candles too.
There are different types of lanterns. There are some made of papers, some made of transparent plastic paper like those shown in the picture. Nowadays there are battery operated lanterns with music too.

We don”t buy since the kids made it in school.
I love mooncakes but it is expensive here.
How cute is this, love learning about the festival. Looks like Disney characters.
Happy to be at Virily where we get to learn so many things including how festivals are celebrated. Have never seen these lanterns.
