Pheasant, today’s surprise

The picture of this bird was taken during today’s walk. I was very surprised to see a beautiful bird near the cornfield. Of course, as soon as she saw me, she headed for the corn. I captured the last moment to take this picture. Pheasant is a bird that was brought to Europe from Asia in ancient times. The pheasants were greatly assisted in the spread of Europe by the ancient Romans, who loved to hunt them and cherished their meat. Pheasant is not feeling well in the woods. It is suitable for rare forests and shrubs near meadows, streams and fields. It feels good on grass, having boundaries and crowns, which may resort. It feeds on seeds, fruits and green parts of plants. Pheasant’s greatest enemy is certainly human, as Pheasant is a culinary delicacy.

  1. I get the see pheasants often. Actually, I’ve been quite surprised by nature lately as I get to see wild animals more and more often. I have never tasted their meat though. ?
