Orchids are such beautiful flowers, they take months to bloom but when they do, they stay on for months. I had a collection of about 25 varieties of orchids but I need to mention that they are finicky plants and they don’t like being moved from one place to another.
When we moved to a different home a few years ago. Here we didn’t have a east facing balcony for these plants and soon enough they started to wilt and die. These are expensive plants and the heart break was too much to take. All I have right now are some ground orchids. Maybe sometime soon I will have them back in my garden.
There is so much we learn from gardening, patience, resilience, hard work and most of all the attitude to never give up, A gardener who gives up too soon may never be one. All of us make make mistakes and learn from them.

They are indeed Lado, I just love them.
I love orchids and I am happy that they have become more affordable here lately. A few weeks ago, one of my orchids bloomed again on its own for the first time. The rest are just leaves, but I still hope that one day I will see blooms again.

Lovely in pink, I have never had luck with orchids.

I have tried growing orchids but failed I do have the morning sun. May be I can try again
I killed our garlic vine robust one at that as it was killing our yielding trees
Orchid are too finicky. Yeah don’t give up. Hmm garlic vine is hard to kill , I have one that has been growing rather vigorously.
