Hello friends, you know what is phaaagan?. I want to introduce you about this mountains Fruit. It is Fig which is known as phaaagan in the mountains area of Kheber Pukhtoon Kha, Pakistan. It is a very delicious fruit. I tasted it during my last year  summer season. Fig fruit available in the months of August and September. In these months you can eat it direct from the trees.

In the Northern Areas of Pakistan , people dry  this fruit and sell in the market. So this dry Fruit I mean Fig is avail in the Northern Areas whole the year. Fig also known as engeer in the Urdu language and Phaag in the local language .
