When we had our first dog and we were gathering information on the proper caring of our pet, we learned that some dogs love to ride in the car. That idea was forgotten when our puppy grew up to be a medium size dog that is heavy and not practical to ride in the car. Nevertheless, we had to get our dog in the car when we moved to a new home. That first car trip of our dog almost made it sick maybe due to the stress.
Our next pet was a lap dog so it was fit to ride in the car. On its first ride, it was also stressed maybe due to the motion. But on the second ride, that puppy seemed to like it very much. To make the story short, that was the start of the saga of the car-riding dogs in our home. Now we bring them along on vacations as far as 8 hours of driving.

we have larger dogs, and they love car rides. They each find a seat and we belt them in (so they can’t be injured in case of bad things).
I have no dog. My big son has it and I know that the chain must be fitted in the seat belt in the car.
