Our package tour of Australia left me mesmerized just like the tours of other. countries. The travel agents know what to pick to sight see within those few days that one has to cover a country.
We covered most of the East coast and our last leg was Melbourne before leaving for New Zealand.
Melbourne had two main attractions – The Great Ocean Road and a visit to the Philip Island to watch the penguin march
It was a late evening event as those baby penguins we were told perform this march every single day around that time It was a patient wait. Good we had warm clothes on as it was quite cold The wait was worth it as we could finally see a single penguin emerging from the sea and waiting on the shore for others to follow and they did – one by one And slowly they went into their burroughs for the night, marching.
It was indeed an event to remember

I learn so much here. Thanks for sharing.
Travel has been a passion with me.
Adorable penguins. It must be fun to watch them I have never been to Australia but my late husband was in Sydney twice.
I have Australia on my places to visit one day, when I win the lottery. 🙂 I love the penguins.
My passion for travel got me there (lol)
Very nice picture, my friend … these are interesting animals that I have not seen before … except on the picture or on the TV
I only got to see them once when we went on this Australia tour
I would have liked to have seen the penguins. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
You will one day. My wishes are there for you
Its a beautiful creature of almighty ,
