In fact, we need almost nothing. We just want a sense of peace. That good peace, when everything that has caused upheaval has calmed down.
Peace of mind.
It happens when we achieve what we were set to achieve or saw as the work we need to do. It’s like a short disconnect. Seconds in space. The finish.
Crossing that line frees you and everything inside loses weight. For short. Only briefly.
A blissful second passed. You again come up with an activity for yourself. Another goal stays before your eyes. You again run to the finish and feel confused.
You feel anxious. You can. You will do that.
And again, you’re looking for just a second of peace. Peace of mind. Its all you need.
