Our lemon grass for good health

We were advised to use lemon grass when drinking tea. But it’s not only for the tea but the lemon grass is a good substitute for ginger. According to the old folks, lemon grass is curative of intestinal diseases and also alleviates gastritis. What’s good in lemon grass is the ease of growing that it is just like ordinary grass that grows by itself. We have lemon grass planted around the house for the benefit of our neighbors who regularly ask for some lemon grass for their cooking.

  1. My new yard was lacking and the first two necessities I put in were rosemary and lemon grass. So now I have it. I am slowly adding herbs. Some of them will have to be grown indoors here. I am not used to buying herbs and spices much. I used to grow almost everything I used.
