Love ItLove It

Our Bimbli tree is packed from top to bottom

That is how the yield of bimblis is.  It throws out fruit abundantly but sad to say there is not much demand for this fruit.

We do use them in our curries.  Some make pickles and I have even tried making wine which has turned out well.  But there is just so much one can do for their own consumption

Our friends and family who are settled abroad long for this fruit and I am told they are sold at exorbitant rates out there and that too in a dried form. .

Those who stay within India do get to take them when they visit us.

  1. We have a couple of trees in the front and at the back of our house. They do bear fruit abundantly almost all year round. We use the fruit in cooking sour soup.
