The market gets flooded with oranges around Christmas time We get loads of them and again, the smell of oranges I associate with Christmas.
One needs to pick and choose as there are some that have been artificially ripened and that one can clearly see. There is a blue tinge on the skin. I prefer the loose jacket with a bright yellow colour. The fruit should be soft to the touch.
I even gave away oranges at that party only to get that Christmas feel.
