Online versus offline store

Admittedly online stores are getting popular because of the convenience that it provides. All the buyer needs to do is to surf the site for the desired product. Then the order is placed and the payment is made via online or COD (cash on delivery). The buyer is informed of the waiting period for the delivery that largely depends on the location of the store or warehouse and the distance to the delivery destination.

But the downside to the online store is the fitting. For clothes and shoes, it is not easy to buy a product that would perfectly fit the buyer’s size. Worse, sometimes the size is different so the clothes or shoes cannot be used properly. What more when the delivered product is defective? It can be replaced, of course, but it takes time and the replacement has no guarantee that it will not be defective.

  1. I order clothing only when sizes offered are large in XL and I know it will fit. I do not order shoes online except for Crocs. What I do order for convenience online are groceries. When I can get things I need in quantity like 12 cans of something.
