“A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush” is one of the oldest and best known English proverbs.
It warns against taking unnecessary risks. It is better to keep what you have (a bird) than to risk getting more and ending with nothing (two birds out of your reach).
Did you find it yet in my rose bush? There is something hiding there. I saw it from behind my camera lens. Was so excited as this is a rare shot. I hope to get closer next time.
I was trying to take some garden shots for LindaOH. She has asked for more shots showing the entire garden. I like macro photos, so I am having to look outside the box to capture more in one photo.
I will share the answer soon in case you cannot find what is hiding.

I sometimes check our small trees for birds. I found a nest on our mango tree last week.
This one is so tiny, most wold have missed it.
It is located in the left half of a branch of the large branch. Fantastic photo.

Yes that would be perfect, but it is not always a perfect world, the closer you get, they fly away.
I see her sunning herself. Those two leaves to the right look like birds as well.

Thanks, the rose bush is one of the in between stages where it is not covered in roses. But the hummingbird was a delight.
