No More Waiting

I have given up the habit of waiting. I have spent a lot of time waiting for things to happen. The “be patient and things will take care of themselves” can be successful. Still, time is a precious commodity and I really don’t have a whole lot of waiting time. There are way too many projects I want to do and places I want to go to.  This family better be ready to take off at a drop of a hat because it’s time.

I’ve been waiting for the perfect weather to make the trip. I’ve been waiting for people to wake up and smell the coffee, not to mention the roses and the blooming trees. It way past time to wait. It is time to do.

I am lucky enough to live where I am free. I am lucky enough to be a citizen of two states because that gives me more opportunities. I am lucky enough to see through the foolishness and find the sincere. I thank my Mom for teaching me all about what discernment is and why it’s an important skill and gift to have. I am grateful.

I am more than happy to stand up and be counted.
