Night butterfly

I painted this picture of a butterfly on the way from the store. He was sitting on the sidewalk and was even at ease so I could picture him. Night butterflies or nightmares (witches) are usually less colorful than daytime butterflies. They are observed at night or at dusk. In the daytime, the trees stand dormant or on deciduous leaves where they are difficult to see due to their brown-gray color. We know of at least 150,000 different night butterflies; by comparison, there are only about 15,000 daily. While it is true that the vast majority of them fly at dusk and at night, there are quite a few daily planes. Nightshades, such as silkworm, are useful to humans, but there are also some types of harmful ones. These include butterflies that destroy cereals, fruits and trees.
