Recently had my eye exam. The waiting room had two large fish aquariums. I snapped some photos with my phone. The fish were beautiful and very entertaining to watch. Others should have these in the waiting rooms. Makes the time go by faster.
I had two aquariums years ago with many kinds of fish. It was fun for awhile but got to be too much to maintain. Took too much time and I was working two jobs at the time. So I sold the two I had. But I enjoyed the experience.

My children and hubby made a small raft made of wood pallets and four empty 25 Lt gallon plastic drums (to float the raft). Then, they raft on our small lake and caught fresh water shrimps/yabbies. We don’t eat them, but my kids just keep them for pets in buckets.
Today I have the post of a very rare pigeon species.
You always seem to find these rare species, so happy you are back to share.
I did not realize there were so many pigeon species.
Almost all hospitals have aquariums here. They help patience be calm and patient. 🙂
That is great Daw, they are very relaxing to watch.
we used to have one in the basement in Indiana (Aquarium). before that when we lived in Cincinnati my daughter had one with Neon Tetra’s.
she went from 5 to about 300 when we moved.
I remember those tetras, fiesty little critters! Good memories.

Lovely aquarium. But you know why that aquarium is there, don’t you? The doctor is just waiting for someone to come in and say Why are there no fish in your aquarium? and then he’ll know that it’s time to really exam the person’s eyes lol
I thought so as well, it is maintained very well and the fish seemed happy. 🙂

They are so pretty! I love aquariums, but they seem to take a lot of work.
Yes that is why I finally gave mine up, a lot of maintenance.
I love aquariums. But usually, when I’m in the waiting room I only see a bunch of magazines. LOL.
