Nature Tuesday ~ National Park

Una National Park is one of three national parks in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was named after the Uni River. The peculiarity of the Una River is the extraordinary length of its stream, with its many accompanying phenomena (caves, islands, barriers, and waterfalls) and the extraordinary forms of the gorges. One of these gorges is Martin Brod. This place is the largest waterfall complex in Una National Park, and they’re used to be many mills. This waterfall or waterfalls (I don’t know how to say it) is really unusual. I don’t know where these waterfalls came from in the middle of the village. Nature really works wonders.

  1. That’s a beautiful picture! I suppose we’ll feel even more comfortable when we are there. I always like to go to waterfall or even look at the water falling… It’s just really soothing, even listening to the sound.

    • I don’t know where it’s coming from, but it’s beautiful as you said. My old account is working again so now I’m working on my old account again. Sorry about the mess.

  2. What a lovely waterfall Vida. I love waterfalls. But because of our hot weather the falls here are never in their glorious splendor.

    • I’m glad you liked the post. We have quite a few waterfalls but not large ones. Our rivers are too small. I saw these waterfalls during my vacation.
