Nature sometimes really does do something I don’t understand well. I made a collage of my dahlia flower development. I thought the flower would be purple but I think it is more red than purple.
Another point of interest.
Dahlia is a flower found in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors. With the exception of one. Blue. Many scientists and researchers have already tried to create a hybrid, with a single desire to produce a blue dahlia. So many people tried to make a blue dahlia, but all the colors were more similar to purple and all the other colors than blue. To date, no one has been able to create a blue dahlia.
