This picture was taken a few days ago when the rain was beating down mercilessly. For the last two days there has been no rain, it sunshine all the way. Our roads are looking the better for it. The continuous rains have washed away all our roads and we have potholes and craters more than the roads themselves.
The roses hardly stay on the plant for two days now, they look battered. Look at this one in the picture it is loaded with water, most of the roses are hanging down because their stems are broken by the pelting they received from the hail storm we had a few days ago . This one seems to have taken it all courageously.
The dogs have decided that they need to sunbathe and are up on the terrace catching the sun. They will enjoy their walk today I guess they don’t have to jump over puddles.

This rose is soaked in rain. What color is it? Can I say baby pink?
Yeah , you could cal it that. Thanks for stopping by MohanBabu.
The picture is really beautiful, dear Dawn … but despite the autumn we have beautiful sunny and warm weather … too warm for this time of year
Enjoy the weather while you can. I really hate winters .
I also do not like winter, cold or snow … the only nice thing is that there is snow at Christmas which is very rare lately
We don’t have snow either. But the change in weather makes all of us fall sick often.
This is also true for us … there is a lot of colds and flu … now the temperatures should be around 10 and we have 25 which is crazy for this time
We just had a hail storm only two days before and sun is always welcome in a hilly place where rain is expected any moment. I am waiting for roses to bloom in a fortnight or so.
Hmm enjoy the roses.I hope there are no hails storms when the roses are in bloom .. its a sad sight believe me.
What a lovely flower with rain drops, thanks for sharing.
Thank you Hina, I am happy that you like it.
Water is life and purifying for people and nature. I like the pictures with raindrops.
Yes, it is, I love rain but in good measure.
Everything these days is controlled by nature. In the good old days it had a system but not any more.
We seem to have no seasons these days.
I love the capture – the water clinging to the rose is so perfect!
Thanks Doc, I loev taking pictures. My external hard drives are increasing by the day LOL
I decided to go to two. One that is always off and one that is always on. When I get new pictures (take) I put them on the always on drive. Every sunday I turn the always off drive on, and copy everything to it.
that gives me two copies of everything. Just in case!
Oh my goodness , I don’t even back up my writing ( the serious ones) Got to learn a lesson or two from you. 😀
🙂 Thank you. I also back up online.
