My Rocketbook Purchase

Perhaps I have not given it enough time. Right how I am not extremely pleased with my Rocketbook purchase. I was hoping it would be simple to send the documents and all would be well. After two hours of trying to make it work myself I gave up and asked for help through tech support. The response was “Please read the directions again.” I called the school who has asked me to try it and see if they should buy two for every student to minimize wasted paper use. That seems to me to be a fairly good sell.

I told the school, in my opinion, read the directions again was not technical support. In fact the experience made me feel stupid and unappreciated. The school will not be buying the product.

I already made my purchase, so I will take notes on it. If some miracle takes place and I figure out the scanning and sending I may think about a smaller test at the school.  Until then my rocketbook is nothing more than a fancy whiteboard.

I am disappointed.

  1. I love notebooks … so I still want paper in my life.
I do save paper somewhere else with my phone (digital tickets, digital coupons and e-books/e-readings)
I guess digital payment will slowly cut down the need to print paper money and that’s what my country is heading.

    • In theory you can write in it, send it to your computer and it will type it out. I have not gotten that to work. I can write in there. Do my own typing and wipe it off and start again. So I am saving paper. It’s more than a white board, but I can’t figure out the transfer yet.
