I have been organizing Xmas parties for these kids since quite a few years A few years ago I celebrated my milestone birthday at the Institute where they are cared for.
I just had to spend and do the planning and the nuns left nothing to chance to make it a memorable day. The kids sang for me and also burst the balloons. There were no crackers
There was good food, lots of music, dancing and plenty of games The nuns prepared the kids to perform as well. I gave them each a gift.

I enjoy mine but more from going to dinner with family!
But milestone birthdays I suppose are different
Depends on the milestone but sometimes they are.
I haven’t celebrated my birthday in years. I just don’t like being fussed around lOL
