My list today is a little different, but it also makes me happy. And those are the words. I think that kind words and praise can also make us happy. We see that people appreciate our work, effort, kindness, help and I could still list. I was even more pleased to receive this when I was still employed. I received this Christmas “gift” a few years ago. It was sent to me by my business partners. Of course, they also included some sweet gifts. I was very surprised to experience something like this for the first time in my long career. I still have it in my office today and every time I look at this “sheet” of paper I smile. What can be done just a few friendly words and little attention?

Very deserving I am sure, my sweet friend. I used to help a suicide awareness team for years and they would be me plaques and gifts, it meant a lot, and still does today.
