My Fifth Handmade Tote Bag

This is the fifth tote bag I’ve made I’m presenting you but not the fifth in the order of making… I made it several years ago when I made all of my other hand and tote bags.. It is made of two different materials…, one of them (the brown one) is plush and the other plaid, turquoise-blue one is something similar to wool and flannel, or something in between the two…

It is a simple tote bag, where I made one small outer pocket, while improvising the other one with a few stitches in turquoise-blue color. You can see the details on the (large) cover photo above although it is a little blurry one, while it is much more clear on the smaller photos in the poll below…

I made some questions about the tote bag in the poll but I would also like to hear your personal opinion in the comments…

Thanks much…! I hope you will like it…! πŸ˜‰

    • Hahah, don’t worry, everything could be managed with a little of practice, heheheehehhe…! ;*) Thanks much, I’m really glad you like it and think so…!!! πŸ™‚ Well, yes, I am thinking about it, actually I do have an opened store there but nothing in the store yet, hahaah… ;D I also have to check the transport and payments methods for sold items, it’s a little difficult when sending them very far… :/ But I guess everything can be managed there…

        • I’m not sure but I think no… I think it only costs around 20c only for having an item listed… That is true, thanks for the support, I agree with you…! πŸ™‚ Well, not sure what would be pricey in this situation but i would have to include the costs of the transport too… I know a girl who makes textile toys and selling them for $50-100 there so I guess and hope everything has it’s buyer… :/
I talked to LaJenna about the prices, she asked me about the ones of my handbags and I remember they were between $20-35 at that time (many years ago) which I think is a small or regular price and probably should be even a little higher now… :/

    • OK… I answered you below where you first commented so I hope you saw the answers… ;D – If you have…, I hope they could be sold for more on Etsy, haven’t tried it yet but thinking about it… I just have to see how the transport and payments work there, not sure how to arrange it… That is a great idea and I hope it will be successful…! πŸ™‚

    • Thank you very much, I’m glad you like it!!! yes, I kinda think so too…, it can be very practical… πŸ˜‰ Hehehe, comparing it with a folk festival is really interesting and it could really look good there.. πŸ™‚

    • Thank you so much, I’m very glad you like it and think so!!!!! I’m also glad you like its simplicity, this way you actually learn people have different tastes and that there is something for everyone…! πŸ˜‰ πŸ™‚

    • Wow, really…..?! πŸ™‚ Thank you so much, very glad you like it! Yes, a small one… πŸ™‚
It is a bag I made and sold long ago but I should start making them again… I just thought it’s maybe too simple or just not the best color combination… :/

      • You should start making them again., That little pocket could be just right for dropping in some loose change. You can make different color combinations like a purple bag with a yellow pocket or something like that.

        • Thank you so much for the encouragement, I am glad you think so!!! :)) I was planning to do so only I haven’t started yet.. Yes, you are right, I had something like that in mind… Usually I was making them only unique (1 piece of each) although I might start making more of the same design…..
