My Favorite Color ~ Just for Fun

Kim has a new challenge for July, write about your favorite color. Click here for the simple rules: Favorite Color

My favorite color is blue. I have many photos with blue. Today I am sharing my Hope garden stone. I keep it indoors as a reminder. The inscription reads… “Hope is support for the soul”. It reminds me everyday how important it is to have hope. When you have been without it, you learn to appreciate it even more. That is how things happen in life. Sometimes it takes losing everything to realize the importance of all the little things.

  1. I have been experiencing life without hope for 10 years now. When you can work a 40 hour week in a career, not a min. wage job, and cant afford to live in a house? I hold no hope of ever being able to afford a roof over my head. When my mom dies and this house goes? I will be homeless. No hope here in So. Cal.

          • That is a negative in Canada, beautiful but not so good medical for what I have researched. Maybe other states would be better. The cost of living in CA apparently is on the high side. Maybe you should come east.

          • I went on a year adventure to check out the price of living vs wages in several states 2 years ago. I went to Arkansas, Mississippi, South Carolina, Alabama, Florida. These places were cheaper but the wages were also not compatible. What happened to when I was a teen, I could afford a two bedroom apartment here on the coast working at Taco Bell? I even tried living in the desert here at my property off grid, but had a problem getting the old grandfathered spring water onto the property. The borrego Sheep people have designated the spring to the sheep. lol My luck. They trump all grandfathered rights to the spring. I still try to hold a positive attitude, but when asked.. I’ll rattle on and on.
