My daily picture – The last cherry blossoms in the park

The latest beauties in the park are these beautiful cherry blossoms. It was almost to lose them! I do not even know when they blossomed and they are almost ready to fall. Probably the bad weather of the last days hastened them … the end!

These are the last cherry blossoms in the park. It is the sign that the spring is coming to an end!

““Due to their short bloom time, Sakura blossoms are a metaphor for life itself: beautiful yet fleeting. You’ll realize when you’re as old as me to hang on to the good times because they won’t last forever.” ― Shannon M Mullen

  1. These are beautiful blossoms, I have a cherry tree but it has white flowers. We don’t get real cherries because it is not cold enough in Auckland but in the South Island of New Zealand they do get real cherries from this tree.
