I can often be seen looking through the grass, hoping to find something interesting … a insect, a flower or I don’t know what a wonder. I have had this passion since I was a child and I was always on the meadow looking for flowers and butterflies. I did the same thing today in Chindia.
We are near the end of autumn and I didn’t expect to see there are still wild flowers that continue to bloom. That’s why I was surprised when I found this purple flower. I’m not sure what the name of this flower is. I suspect it may be a subspecies of Centaurea nigrescens, known as Vochin Knapweed in my area but I’m not sure.

Can you help me identify this plant?

i don’t know the name but the flower looks beautiful and different
I have no clue, and I find it very interesting. I would guess Carol is right. She knows her stuff.
I also think it is a knapweed plant.
sadly as you know, my plant ID skills are less than helpful.
Would that be tumble knapweed. I am not sure, lovely picture though.
Thank you, Down! It is definitely a species of knapweed.
I will not start guessing, just say that photo is great again.
Thank you again, my dear!
That looks like scabious to me.
I’ve never seen what scabious looks like. From the photos I see on the net I don’t think it looks like this flower. The shape of the petals is different.
I am terrible with plants’ name, I don’t know these ones.
Unfortunately, I’m more familiar with flowers, so I can’t help you, dear friend
I’m not even familiar with all the wild plants, unfortunately!
Yea, sure . Is it not centaurea.
I hoped you would tell me what is not what is not!?
Looks like a spotted knapweed perhaps.
It could be! I thought it might be Centaurea nigrescens, because of the shape of the leaves.
It reminds me of a few different flowers, but this one looked the closest to me. Still a pretty color.
