My beautiful cat is almost 7 years old

I have a cat since 2012. He is an indoor cat. He likes to bite without reason when he is playing. I wonder if this cat is old. I have beautiful memories with him. My family loves him. He is a member of our family now. We brought him from a woman who had many cats. This one was the smallest. He was very weak and we saved him. In the beginning we were afraid for his life, but he survived and now he is a beautiful cat. The only person who doesn’t like him is my father. He can’t accept a cat in the house. Do you have an indoor cat? Do you think it’s difficult to take care of a cat?

  1. I have had my indoor cat since December 2007, when I adopted him from a neighbor who died of cancer. Although the cat was indoor/outdoor, I decided to keep him indoor full-time, and I eventually bought him a 6-foot cat tree that he loves. I placed it by my bedroom window so he would have a nice view. He is now 18, almost 19, and a happy cat. Right now, he is upstairs, sleeping on my bed.
    Cats are easy. they just need a litter box, in which I need to clean three times a day. And, since he is indoors, he doesn’t need to be bathed. Outdoor cats get dirty and need to be bathed. I just feed him canned food in the morning and dry food in the evening.

  2. He looks cute and I am sure his bites are playful. I can see how much you love this cat. Though we don’t have any pets, some free roaming kittens in the garden get very friendly with us.

  6. I’ve been watching videos from a YouTube channel called ‘The Kitten Lady’, where a girl shows how to take care of orphan kitties. They definitely require a lot of care, need to be fed every two hours, very slowly. When these kittens are neglected or not fed properly they can develop serious health issues. Even when the mother is available, not all kittens are able to survive.
    I’m so glad you saved him. I don’t think he’s old, cats are usually long-lived. ?

    • What loss? I didn’t lost this cat. I still have him. He is alive and healthy. I think you didn’t read what I wrote. I don’t know why I can’t write a reply here.
