In the morning I sat on the terrace and enjoyed the morning coffee. Suddenly, two large “birds” sat on the neighbor’s chimney. I immediately knew that this is a stork. I do not know where they came because we do not have them in this part of our country. White Stork is a well-known large white bird with black feathers, long red legs and beak. White Stork is a migrant who goes to large groups for wintering in tropical Africa. It comes back from wintering areas early in the spring. It usually nests from March to June, and the couple returns to the same nest year after year. A suitable place for large nests is found on ridge roofs, on chimneys and on telegraph poles, and nests in tree trunks.

Wow! Another amazing capture!
Thank you. I had a lot of luck
so what’s the difference between a crane and a stork?
I checked a little, but I didn’t find any big differences
so then two different names for the same bird?
They belong to the same genus of birds. They vary in color and size.
okay, thanks for letting me know
I think that these guests were a total surprise for you
I agree. But I wish there were more such surprises
I’m familiar with this kind of bird. There are many in Bulgaria. When I was in June, I made many pictures of storks (families). Here in Spain, where I live, I have not seen.
We don’t have many storks and they live on the other side of the country. So I was surprised to see them.
Looks like a good bird, we don’t have Storks..
Thank you, Pamela. It’s really special
I don’t see many of them around here but it is a lovely bird
I agree. There is not much in our country, especially in the place where I live.
What a wonderful picture. We don’t have storks in the US (well not in Maryland). Thank you!!! I love seeing new things!
Thank you so much. I am very happy to show you something new.
You did I am always interested in learning!
I am glad you were at the right place at the right time Vidocka. Could you have asked for more while having a cup of coffee?
I totally agree with you. I really do not want to want more.
Great picture, dear Vidocka … I’ve seen stork even with us
Thank you, Lado… You were lucky
With great joy, dear Vidocka … I was really lucky
I’ve only seen the stork in zoos. That’s a lovely photo.
Thank you Linda. I saw her for the first time live
What a great photo, you got two in the photo. I have never seen them except in zoos.
Thank you, Carol. I was very lucky to make this picture ?
Yes , we have this bird in our country but in coast area.
We do not have them on the coast but in the interior of the country.
