It used to be a morning ritual rushing for the morning newspaper with a hot cup of tea and reading aloud the headlines much to the annoyance of those around as they would want to get to know what was up by reading it themselves.
By all standards it was a pleasant ritual. And it lasted for years. Until the newspaper boy was informed rather reluctantly that he could stop coming as we had no need for the paper any more.
With so many avenues – the tv and the Net that fed one with streaming news the paper suddenly lost its value but not with those withdrawal symptoms that one gets with de-addiction.
Reading the morning paper was a kind of addiction.
Do you still buy the morning newspaper?
