Moon Cake festival is one of Chinese traditional festivals.
It’s called Moon Cake festival because the we consume moon cake during this festival which located at 15th, eight month every month (lunar calendar).
We eat the round mooncake as it signifies the completeness of a family or reunion.
It’s called Lantern festival too as the children will play the lantern during the weeks before and after the festival.

It’s one of the festivals we are looking for each year. Kids especially like to play with the candles. 😀
I know about the mooncake festival but have never participated. My son brought home some mooncakes and I ate all of them. LOL.
