MK ~ Saturday Critters

Momma Kitty was Dustin’s cat. She lived to be 24 years old. It was very hard losing her nine years after Dustin. She lived longer than he did. But I have many good memories of MK.

This photo shows you how relaxed she could get, as most cats do. She was allowed in the yard, as she had her claws to protect herself. Brendel and the Dude do not. They stay indoors. She chilled with me a lot out on the deck. And inside as well.

Momma Kitty lived a good long life and helped me through many difficult times.

Sharing her photo with today’s Saturday’s Critters challenge.

  1. Pets are really understanding, when I was ill for over a year my dog would never leave my site. she would look over me as a mother would.

  2. I am so sorry Carol.

The memories you shared actually brought a tear to my eye. But it was also such a beautiful and loving tribute to both of them.

You are a pillar of strength!

  3. Pets are a blessing. They do comfort and provide hope. They can’t talk but they have their own way of providing a ray of hope.

  4. She looks cute in there!
I’ve to agree that pets are great companions who doesn’t judge or have much expectations …
They’re happy with little and give even when receiving little

  6. Monma Kitty had the chance to live with a good mother… I agree entirely with you Carol. Pets are even better than humans for companionship, friendship, helping us go through day to day and the ups and downs of everyday. Pets are also the best therapists whether it be with seniors, autistics, handicaps and just people like you and me. That is a beautidul photo of Momma Kitty and a great soothing reminder…

      • Another thing I should have added about MK. She had only one eye most of her life. Never slowed her down. She won a fight with a male cat when she was pregnant.
