Meeting New Year

Do you say the New Year is on the doorstep? Yes, January 1st. is coming so soon. There are opinions that this is just another day in the calendar and lately I am finding more and more arguments to not overestimate this date.

But the answer to the frequently asked question, where would I like to meet the New Year, is – on Fuerteventura beach. You come to the ocean with a van, get a couple of chairs there, a warm blanket, something to snack on and have champagne.

I would sit all night on the ocean shore watching the sun go down and the waves crash into the rocks and the wind blew at the top of the mountains.
