The benefits of meditation is well known all over the world. People of all ages and from every strata of life do it for its benefits.
However, recently, some British scientists have said that meditation may not always be a pleasant experience for everyone and say that more research is needed into such practices.

I have voted positively in all your questions. However, I use a different form of meditation than the one that is commonly taught. Christian meditation is very different.
