Sharing a large yellow male Tiger Swallowtail with you from Dustin’s garden, of course.
The females have a little blue on their tails. That is how I can tell this is a male.
All butterflies are welcome in the garden. Come one, come all I say.
They bring a special presence with them. This one is as large as my hand. Amazing.

i would, across a field run to chase the elusive butterfly. To see it, as it flits from flower to flower and, pausing to see me, flit away.
I always enjoy the butterflies, their lives are too short. I enjoy them while they are here for only a day or two.
you get so many great butterfly pictures. i need to spend more time trying to capture them!
