Make Friends With a Capybara

Even though capybaras are large mammals they are among the friendliest animals in the world. Capybaras belong to the Hydrochaeridae family and are the largest rodents in the world. They are native to Central and South America usually making their home near water sources. They can weigh up to 65 kgs and graze on grass. These animals as grown adults can eat up to 8 lbs of grass per day. Water is needed for their dry skin. The tailless, web-footed, and brown-haired capybara is a very sociable creature and is trainable.
