To live a happier and healthier life, we need to smile more often, and these are not just words, but a scientifically sound statement. Even when we smile without feeling particularly happy, we start the production of chemicals in the body that help us tune in a more positive way.
Psychologists and health researchers around the world are finding more and more evidence that smiling is good:
1) People around tend to underestimate the age of the person who smiles;
2) People often adopt what they see: they will respond the same with a smile: when others smile back, they also improve their mood;
3) Smiling, we relax, our blood pressure decreases, as well as the possibility of heart disease;
4) People who smile more are usually more optimistic and emotionally stable;
5) When we see that others smile, our heart and brain function is stimulated. This effect is even stronger than from eating chocolate or getting money.
