It’s been such a rainy September that practically every photo taken outdoors is of something that is in, under or topped with water or rain drops. It’s also harvest time and the tomatoes and other vegetables are ready to be picked, rain or no rain.
For Macro Monday this is a photo of a tomato from my garden still on the vine and covered with rain drops. It has been a partly dry and partly rainy summer and this perhaps may have had something to do with the bumper tomato crop we have had this year. So far I have been busy canning salsa and enjoying fresh home grown tomatoes.

Home grown tomatoes taste a lot better than store bought ones

I love all the veggies from my garden they taste great.
I agree they always taste fresh and great.
Finally I see tiny tomatoes emerging out of flowers on my plants Waiting to see them go red.
Hope you get a good crop of tomatoes
I cannot plant tomato because the soil here has fungus that kills tomato plants.
That’s too bad but I guess there is plenty of fresh tomatoes you can purchase at the local markets
I had a lot of tomatoes that really can’t compare to what I bought.
I always look forward to the short summers we have when I can grow my own tomatoes and vegetables.
This year, the tomatoes gave me great … I had a really huge one
It has been a good year here too for tomatoes.
It really was a good year
I love tomatoes of all kinds.
Yes they are so versatile for cooking and eating.
Love fresh tomatoes and wish we had rain!
You can have my rain as we are expecting another full week of it.
I’m lucky I get to buy fresh grown tomatoes. Not ‘engineered’ ones. You’re lucky too to have your own garden to grow plants.
I really like this time of year when I can plant my own tomatoes even though for a short period.
